MBW AP2000 20" Honda Powered Asphalt Plate Compactor

MBW's AP2000 series is the only vibratory plate compactor specifically designed for asphalt applications. Frequency, amplitude, centrifugal force and mass are all established at optimal levels for maximum productivity on asphalt. Further, the mechanical construction of the GP2000 is specific to this very demanding application. Fitted with a Honda GX160 engine.

• Hook in place operating flip handle for use during transportation.
• Four rubber shock mounts on handle with nylon bushings and four rubber shock mounts from plate to engine mount; highly reduce vibration and shock to engine and operator.
• Ergonomic lifting handle on both sides of plate.
• Minimal maintenance with exciter oil change just once a year.

Stress relieved steel plate housings are crack resistant and provide long wear. Aluminium exciter housing dissipates heat rapidly and custom lubricants preserve bearing and seal integrity. The self cleaning plate prevents dirt build-up.

Optional transport cart available.Large eccentric weight provides high amplitude, impact energy and travel speed whilst low eccentric frequency offers longer life to bearings and components. Stress relieved steel plate housings are crack resistant and provide long wear.

Aluminium exciter housing with cooling fins dissipates heat rapidly for long bearing life, the plate compactor also features a standard protection cage with balanced lifting point.

The optional neoprene paving pad accessory for interlocking paving blocks is also available.
