The Ford FG8750iSE is the largest in the Ford inverter range, with a maximum output of 8.2kW. Compact and powerful, it is designed for leisure and domestic use, able to cover a large number of appliances either at home or out on the road. Boasting a large 8kW continuous output, the generator is ideal to take on sensitive work while allowing heavier equipment to be run off it simultaneously. The FG8750iSE uses a range of sockets to provide several connection options. The 32A 230V socket allows for larger appliances to run from the generator and the two 13A 230V domestic sockets allow for direct connection of household appliances. With a 12V socket for battery charging and USB sockets for your smart tech, you’ll always be set when you need a quick bit of power on the go.

The FG8750iSE is a low noise generator for its size. Based on the average 50% load, the generator will run at 68dBA @ 7m, quiet enough to not disturb anyone in its immediate surroundings. With a compact and symmetrical design, along with wheels and folding handles, the FG8750iSE makes for a perfect unit for easy and effective storage, transportation and manoeuvrability.

Like most inverter units, the generator is equipped with an ECO mode that drops the engine revs to minimal levels. This provides a lower fuel consumption and even less noise than the unit would typically produce. ECO mode acts like a ‘smart throttle’, changing the engine speed necessary to meet the demand. Because of this feature, the speed of the generator runs slower and encounters less wear and tear, ultimately increasing the life and efficiency of the engine.

An improved and superior feature included on the front control panel of the generator is the LED display. Not only does it provide a clear indication of the voltage, frequency and hours, but displays a fuel gauge to the left and a percentage of power consumption to the right. The latter allows you to ensure you always have the right amount of power set up and plugged in to the unit.
