From the SE (Super Economy) open frame petrol generator series, the Stephill SE2700LR is reliability economical thanks to the robust Honda GX160 engine. The Overhead Valve (OHV) engine produces 2.7 kVA / 2.2 KW of power effortlessly and has been designed for powering varying electrical loads for unlimited hours. Its best at home when powering items such as small appliances, lights, and small to medium power tools. Plus, it can charge low voltage batteries and its compact size and low sound levels makes it a market leader.
POWER RATING OF THE STEPHILL SE2700LR
It has a prime power rating of 2.7kVA / 2.2 KW.
This lightweight open frame generator is extremely compact and strong, so can be stored with ease in the smallest of spaces. With a generous long run fuel tank of 11 L, the Stephill SE2700LR open frame generator is perfect for your next project. Plus, its surprisingly light, just 35KG. With an easy-to-use configuration this portable petrol generator gives you a fantastic balance between performance and price.
IS THE STEPHILL SE2700LR EASY TO START AND USE?
You bet it is – the easy recoil start (pull start) is smooth and silky. On a well-maintained unit it starts first pull every time. This generator has the option to upgrade to an electric key start, making starting a total breeze.
There is 1 x 16A 230V & 1 x 16A 115V BS4343 sockets to connect your electrical equipment up to. As well as low oil shutdown this generator has a reset circuit breaker overload protection and a voltage selector switch.
USING SENSITIVE EQUIPMENT WITH THE ELECTRICAL POWER FROM THE STEPHILL SE2700LR
The power produced by the Stephill SE2700LR enables a smooth voltage output via the brushless waveform alternator. This keeps the 230v output within tolerance making it safe to use with electronic equipment like PC’s, laptops TV’s and more besides.
LOW NOISE LEVELS
You might think having a portable petrol generator will be very noisy. Well think again; the Stephill SE2700LR is surprisingly quiet at 69 dBA @ 7 metres.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT USE MY GENERATOR FOR LONG PERIODS?
As with all petrol engines, if you are planning to store your generator for a long period its ‘best practice’ to either drain the fuel tank then run the generator until it stops. This will prevent any unused fuel congealing and clogging the carburettor. Or to stop the fuel from going off use a petrol additive. Remember, stale fuel can stop your generator from starting when you need it.
